Château Holden

Château Holden, founded in the 16th century, is a historic wine estate located in a picturesque valley, and its name meaning “deep valley” in Old English.

The estate covers 21 hectares of unique terroir with gravelly soils and clay limestone. The vineyards, with vines over 30 years old, cultivate varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, with a strong vocation to the conservation of the winemaking tradition of the area.

Château Holden wine stands out for its remarkable character, with a soft and balanced profile, aromas of undergrowth and red fruits, and a persistent finish.

The quality of its wines has been recognized with numerous awards, including gold medals at the Berliner Wein Trophy, Challenge International du Vin and 70 Million Tasters. And many more: a continued success across multiple vintages that highlights Château Holden’s commitment to producing exceptional wines year after year.

Château Holden embodies its historical legacy and ongoing pursuit of excellence, offering wines that reflect the region’s rich terroir and winemaking heritage.
