Chateau L'Haur Du Chay

Château l’Haur du Chay has been owned by the Haure family for four generations: winemaking tradition and culture since 1960.

Located on a girondin terroir, traditionally fertile and well known for the quality of its grapes, Château l’Haur du Chay grows Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines giving birth to a wine with a dainty and harmonious blend.

Furthermore, its clay-limestone characteristics facilitate the production of a wonderful red called Blaye Côtes from Bordeaux.

The vocation of Château l’Haur du Chay is markedly linked to the world of organic production: on the land, converted by the current ownership to organic farming since 2009, treatments are carried out exclusively with copper and sulphur, without artificial herbicides.

The same goes for the harvest, which is carried out mechanically.
