An embodiment of Saint-Estèphe’s terroir, the 2021 Château Martin is a harmonious blend of power and finesse. Its intense aromatics of black cherry, tobacco leaf, and graphite seduce the senses, while the structured yet velvety palate unfurls notes of juicy plum, truffle, and espresso. This wine showcases remarkable purity and concentration, a testament to the estate’s meticulous viticulture and winemaking. Undoubtedly a captivating expression of Bordeaux’s Left Bank, it promises to evolve gracefully over the next decade. This wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation in Bordeaux received a rating of 91 points from wine critic Neal Martin of Vinous. He described it as “a formidable Château Martin that is sure to give many years of drinking pleasure”.

Vinification

Extended maceration enhances extraction, while malolactic fermentation in barrel adds complexity. The final assemblage showcases the distinctive terroir, yielding an expressive and elegant wine.
